Shelburne lies at the southwest corner of Nova Scotia, and is a charmimg seacoast and harbourside town with historic waterfront. Many of the houses here are preserved 18th century houses and public buildings, and fishing and tourism are the main industries as well as ship building and repair, logging, aquaculture, marine supplies and more. There are many fine dining restaurants and cafes, live music, dance and theatre and great places to stay from self contained to bed and breakfast and more. Shelburne also plays host to the annual Lobster Festival and is a Tall Ships port home to two stunning 18th century longboats, built as replicas in 2008.
