Alaska Sea Kayakers
Alaska Sea Kayakers in Whittier, Alaska, offers kayak rentals for fun, exciting and adventurous paddling trips with spectacular views and interesting, rugged coastlines. For novice and beginners we recommend an instruction course in paddling and self rescues before setting off on an expedition, and to ensure safety on unguided tours, we now stock drysuits at affordable prices, a necesssity in case of cold water immersions and variable conditions. Settting out on one of our kayak rentals gives paddlers an awesome viewpoint of the sights and sounds of actively calving glaciers, which could easily be one of the most thrilling highlights of your trip. Blackstone Bay is one of our most popular kayaking destinations, as you paddle through the ice floe in the company of harbor seals and various sea birds, and there are outstanding wildlife photo opportunities, and sighting of otters and eagles, to mention just a few. Kayak rentals are an excellent way of exploring the natural beauty of Alaska, and is an opportunity not to be missed.
