Florida Yacht ClubThe Florida Yacht Club in Jacksonville, Florida has been in existence since 1876, and the purpose of the club was primarily to promote yachting, coupled with social enjoyment and entertainment. Florida Yacht Club has so much to offer its members, from leisurely cruises, to fine dining, swimming and tennis, there is something for everyone. Over the years membership has grown dramatically, and extensions to the clubhouse include elegant dining rooms, extensive kitchen facilities, over 1000 feet of docks and slips. There are now clay tennis courts, a remodeled health club and a swimming pool. The Florida Yacht Club also hosts weddings, numerous annual regattas and social events. The Pirates Den Bar is a great venue for meeting friends for weekend or after work drinks, either inside or on the porch where you can take in the spectacular views as you social with your friends.
