Narva is the third largest city in Estonia on the river Narva and is located at the eastern extreme point of Estonia right at the Russian border. Narva is home to Hermann Fortress a well preserved 15th century castle and is a melting pot of Estonian and Russian cultures with a long history going back. Narva offers classical Soviet-era architecture and many historical sites and the promenade along the river is ideal for fishing, walking and other sports including cycling. The town is also home to the Narva College located on the town square in an ultra modern building.
