Port La Nouvelle is a commune in the Aude Department of France right on the Mediterranean coast most famous for its clear air and kilometres of fine golden sand, and the beach has been awarded the European Union's Blue Flag award for water quality. Port La Nouvelle a traditional and lively family resort with a fishing port, marina and commercial port which is the third busiest on the Mediterranean coast. There's excellent year round entertainment, sports, places to stay and restaurants and is busy throughout the year.
