Riomaggiore is a small and pretty village in the province of La Spezia, Italy and the most Southern village of the Cinque Terre with numerous restaurants, shops, bars and accommodation options. Well known for it's wine produced in the towns vineyards, a visit is not complete with purchasing Sciacchetra a Cinque Terre dessert wine which is available in wineries throughout the village. Riomaggiore has shoreline on the Mediterranean's Gulf of Genoa, and there's a small beach and wharf, and the water and mountainside have been declared national Parks.
