Coverack, England, Cornwall
Coverack is a picturesque Cornish fishing village on the eastern coast of the Lizard peninsula with a small sand and pebble beach, and is built on two sides of a spur of rock that juts out into the sea. Retaining much of it's original charm, Coverack has small harbour and is the ideal location for watersports including pleasure boating, fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling and windsurfing. Coverack has several hotels, a youth hostel and self catering holiday cottages, and the annual Christmas swim by volunteers in aid of charity for cancer research attracts many visitors, villagers and holiday makers.
