Tywyn is a Victorian resort in the heart of Cardigan Bay in the west coast of Mid Wales, famous as the home of the Talyllyn Railway. There's a good four miles of beautiful sandy beach, and surrounds of the green valleys and hills of Bro Dysynni in the Snowdonia National Park.
