Royal Victoria Yacht Club
Royal Victoria Yacht Club in Victoria, BC, was founded in 1892, is considered to be one of the oldest yacht clubs in Western Canada, and to this day, continues to provide members with excellent activities and service. At our yacht club you can get away from everyday stresses and start cruising, enjoy activities with family and friends, and end a fun day with an excellent meal in our dining room, or a drink in our relaxing waterfront pub. The aim of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club is to stimulate and encourage interest in yachting, boating and seamanship and to promote sportsmanship in competitive sailing, and in so doing to preserve yachting traditions. We offer various sailing instruction programs that are suitable for adults and children, such as basic sailing and racing skills, development of existing skills and advanced training, and these programs are all conducted whilst you are sailing in the beautiful Cadboro Bay.
